To do list for the week of January 5, 2015   

Spelling	EL: Body Parts ----spelling city Advanced Group-----Wordly Wise lesson 1-------due Friday
Reading	Keep track of your books by writing it in your planner, write down the genre and how many minutes you read each night.
Math	1.     Monday—bring in sales ads from your home mail or newspaper (example---local grocery store, Target, CVS, etc.) 2.     Tuesday—Make a list of school supplies that are essential for 5th graders. How can we determine the total cost for all of these school supplies? What did you discover? 3.     Wednesday--Make a list of possible field trips that you would be interested in for our grade level. 4.          Thursday• What factors should be taken into consideration when deciding where to go on a field     trip? • How can decimal computation help people make decisions? • How can we determine to cost of the field trip? • What would be the most expensive field trip/ the cheapest?  Why do you think so?
